It's been a while since I've posted in my blog. I'm planning to start back up again, though, as I have several big projects underway in 2020. I'm hoping to utilize this forum to bring others along with me for the journey who may be interested.
My next big adventure will be to Abu Dhabi for the World Urban Forum 10. This important gathering of the United Nations will gather more than 20,000 leaders from around the world who will continue working together to facilitate transformation in cities. Along with my colleagues at the Urban Shalom Society, we'll be gathering Christian leaders and multi faith leaders for networking, workshop, advocacy opportunities. Over the past several years we've organized gatherings for faith leaders to be able to speak into how the New Urban Agenda is being implemented around the world, and we'll be sharing the findings from those gatherings in Abu Dhabi.
I'm hoping to share regular updates when I'm on the ground in Abu Dhabi about how faith leaders can engage at the policy and implementation levels of UN Habitat's New Urban Agenda. We'll facilitate an Urban Shalom Forum for Christian leaders on February 8th, and then several networking sessions and workshops throughout the course of WUF 10 from February 9-13. Stay tuned for some new adventures!
